Playing cards and business strategy

Today I'm telling a story of one of my childhood memories...

My grandparents on my dad's side were the first people to teach me how to play cards.

I've been told that as young as the age of 2, I was playing the dice game which was a game of matching the numbers added on the dice to the number on the card. My Grandma Russo (I called her Nani) would play this game with me over and over because I asked her all the time to play!

My grandma, my sister, and my favorite phrase was, "Come On Pimples!" meaning rolling a 2 with the dice, which is harder to do.

MY first actual memory was playing "Rummy" with my Grandpa Russo (I called him Papi) around the age of 4. My grandpa's favorite saying was, "Well, I might as well make these few points." I smile every time I think about him saying that. I remember sitting next to him playing rummy the day before he passed away (I was 10 years old), and he said that while playing :)

Then my dad introduced me to GIN Rummy and Pitch and I have to say, I love both games, but Pitch is my favorite. I'd sit and watch my dad play Pitch at the Firehouse where he worked and every now and then I'd look at one of his co-worker's cards and just as he'd be about to set a card down, I'd say, "I wouldn't put that card down if I were you." YES, I was that annoying child... but about 80% of the time, I was right. LOL

My dad's co-workers would humor me and let me "help them" sometimes.

I learned a lot about strategy playing cards and I think it's going to help me in some way with the new skill I'm learning - trading with cryptocurrency.

If you don't know this training platform I am referring to called ICoin Pro, I recommend that you CLICK HERE

Anyway... getting back to what my email was originally going to be about ... Since I am going to a GIN event, I decided to pack a deck of cards and I'm hoping to play at least a few hands of GIN Rummy with my GIN family that's going.

Don't know what GIN is? Reach out to me about that too.

I look forward to speaking with you!

Renee :)
