About Me
Born on June 2, 1954 Peter Parker is a British biographer, historian, journalist and editor. While working in Design Centre's bookshop in 1980s, he began his career in literary journalism. He also published many short stories in London Magazine, Fiction Magazine, Critical Quarterly and three PEN/Arts Council anthologies. He turned to write his first non-fiction book called “THE OLD LIE” which was published in 1987. As of years, he also wrote the definitive biography of Christopher Isherwood which actually took 12 years for him to complete. Peter from 2014 until 2017, been a visiting fellow in the School of Arts at the University of Northampton.
