We have all heard that half of all advertising dollars are wasted; the problem lies in figuring out which half. The numbers become even more interesting when one examines the typical response rates for the different platforms we use. Most marketers are happy to achieve a response rate of 1 to 2 percent..... 1 or 2 percent ??? If that is the benchmark we have set it is pretty pitiful.... Every business, needs marketing to survive and thrive.....but what business is going to survive on that kind of conversion from a campaign ? What can we do to try and make that outcome a little better ? If 1-2 % is the benchmark for success....imagine how you would feel if you could achieve 3-4%....
