14 Podcasts That Will Make You A Better Entrepreneur

Are you leveraging your time to learn as much as you can when you're driving? Or when you're working out? Or how about when you're doing housework or cooking dinner? Whatever it may be that you are doing in your free time, it's usually pretty tough to read a book during most of these times when your eyes are focused on doing other activities. So, what better way to learn as much as possible from some of the greatest minds on the planet than by listening to podcasts while you're on the go! You can tap into this awesome educational resource from just about any smartphone - so there really is no excuse not to throw on some headphones and get to learning. Oh, and best of all, they're all FREE Check this out. Here's a list of my 14 favorites, enjoy! 1. Foundr Podcast - Nathan Chan Nathan went from having an average 9-5 Monday-Friday job, to building one of the biggest (and best!) entrepreneur digital magazines in the world interviewing entrepreneurs such as Richard Branson and Arianna Huffington. On top of his magazine, he's created a podcast interviewing successful Foundr's from all around the world such as Seth Godin, Barbara Corcoran and Marie Forleo. 2. Entrepreneur on Fire - John Lee Dumas The Entrepreneur on Fire podcast has over 1 million downloads a month, and is a DAILY podcast! Included in his interviews with successful entrepreneurs from all around the globe, John includes a "lightning round", where he asks the entrepreneurs six questions to extract as much value as possible from them. 3. The #AskGaryVee Show - Gary Vaynerchuk Gary Vaynerchuk has gone from growing his family business from a $3M to a $60M business in only 5 years, to owning Vaynermedia, a digital agency with over 500 employees. Gary has also invested in companies such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Uber. The #AskGaryVee podcast involves Gary spending 15-30 minutes an episode answering questions about entrepreneurship, social media, and family businesses. 4. The School of Greatness - Lewis Howes Lewis Howes is a former pro athlete, turned lifestyle entrepreneur. After an injury ended his professional football dream, Lewis went from broke to building a multi-million dollar online media company. In his podcast, The School of Greatness, Lewis interviews some of the most brilliant business minds, world class athletes and influential celebrities on the planet. 5. StartupCamp - Dale Partridge Dale Partridge is the founder of Sevenly.org and StartupCamp. Dale has been featured on the cover of Entrepreneur Magazine, Fox News, NBC, Forbes, and the LA times. Each week, Dale interviews a successful entrepreneur and tackles topics such as forming strong ideas, launching successful ventures, branding, and building business models that can offer freedom to their founders. 6. The Smart Passive Income Podcast - Pat Flynn Pat is well known for his Smart Passive Income Blog. In his podcast, he reveals how he makes a six-figure salary working only a few hours a week. He talks about his online business and blogging strategies, marketing tips, and income source. Pats also interviews successful entrepreneurs from all around the world. 7. Addicted 2 Success - Joel Brown Joel Brown owns Addicted2success.com, one of the top motivation and inspiration blogs in the world. Interviewees on his podcast include Deepak Chopra, Gary Vaynerchuk, Tony Robbins, Simon Sinek, and Grant Cardone. 8. The Tim Ferriss Show - Tim Ferriss Best known for his bestselling book, the 4-hour workweek, Tim finds the tools, tactics and tricks that world class performers use to be the best at what they do. 9. Cardone Zone - Grant Cardone Sales expert Grant Cardone is well known for his bestselling books such as "the 10X rule" and "sell or be sold". The Cardone Zone is Grant's way of teaching you how to get into a better position in your life, in your business, in your career and with your finances. 10. The Art Of Charm - Jordan Harbinger From this, you'll learn top strategies to improve your career, confidence, lifestyle and love-life from top experts like life and business-hackers Tim Ferriss, Ramit Sethi and Noah Kagan to Seth Godin, Simon Sinek, Olivia Fox, The Art of Charm team and more. This is one of my favorites - be sure to give it a listen! 11. The MFCEO Project - Andy Frisella Let me just tell you this... Andy keeps it REAL! This is his no BS entrepreneurial/motivational podcast featuring him, his co-host and sidekick Vaughn Kohler, and weekly guest entrepreneur millionaires who will be sharing their lessons for success. 12. The $100 MBA Show - Omar Zenhom Awarded as an iTunes Best of 2014 podcast, The $100 MBA Show is a new kind of business podcast where you simply get better at business with daily 10 minute business lessons for the real world. These no fluff, 10-minute episodes are packed with only the pure business building training you want. Omar Zenhom shares some of the best business lessons, concepts, examples and insights from inside The $100 MBA training and community. 13. London Real - Brian Rose London Real is the video talk show that introduces some of the most fascinating people on the planet. Each week Brian interviews someone at the top of their game and gives the inside look at how they achieved their success, and how you can take your health, wealth, and relationships to the next level. 14. The Joe Rogan Experience - Joe Rogan Okay, this is necessarily an entrepreneur specific one, but it's damn good and worth putting on the list. The Joe Rogan Experience podcast is a long form conversation hosted by comedian, UFC color commentator, and actor Joe Rogan with friends and guests that have included comedians, actors, musicians, MMA instructors and commentators, authors, artists, and porn stars. The Joe Rogan Experience was voted the Best Comedy Podcast of 2012 on iTunes. WRAPPING IT UP Word of caution. Don't let this list overwhelm you. Your natural reaction/desire will be to go out and subscribe to all of these at once and try and absorb everything they have to offer - because they are so damned good, but don't! Don't allow yourself to get information overload. Just start with a couple and listen to them regularly. Then, slowly incorporate one a week to change it up and layer in awesomeness.
