Everyone loves to win. It's human nature.

However, there is a trap in that thinking. Since we love to win, we hate to lose by default.

What do you do when you hate something? You avoid it. You try to make sure it doesn't happen.

How do you make sure you don't lose? You stop trying things that might lead to a loss.  You stick with what seems "safe" and you don't take chances or try new things.

The most common problem that I have seen with those who struggle online is the fact that they are not "all in".

This is especially a problem with those who are trying to start a "side hustle" to make a little extra money in their spare time.

They don't "have to succeed" so they don't put enough effort in. They don't take enough risks or try enough new things to get the breakthrough that they need.

If you are a full-time entrepreneur, then you "have to succeed". If you don't make the sales, then the rent doesn't get paid and the cupboards get pretty bare.

That pressure causes you to take more risks, try more new things, learn new skills, work more hours.

All of that leads to more winning, but also leads to more losing as well. Not everything you try works.

Even the things that do work in the end, start with you doing them poorly at first.  No one was born a great copywriter, you have to work through the period where you suck at it to get to the reward that comes when you have sharpened your skills.

Embrace the things you do poorly and work on learning how to do them better.

If you are losing, then that means you are trying to do things that are not "safe" or "known". That is the path to getting the change you desire.
