A few years back I plonked over a bundle of cash to get connected with a specific guru in the "make money online" sector.
It looked good from the outside. Big promises of fast dinero for not muucho effort.
But once I got inside and started working the program, I realized I was actually just painting this guy's fence.
Remember the Tom Sawyer story?
How he tricked all his buddies in to painting the fence for him by making it appear trendy? By turning it into the thing?
Yeah.
I thought I was hip.
I thought I was really doing the right thing.
I thought I was in the know.
I thought I was going to make it big soon.
We were supposed to be a team. I was supposed to bring the people and he will close them. I referred a lots of business for this dude. But he was the only one making any considerable money. At times he 'd throw me a bone. Most of the time, I made zilch.
That's how most of these programs work.
They're just glorified fence painting scams.
You set up your own hard earned money just for the privilege of delivering the guru customers.
By the way, your job is kind of like that as well.
You're just painting your boss's fence instead.

Like one of my favorite Quote of Zig Ziglar says: „You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want.“ I work a few hours each day and usually don't work Friday through Monday. This time is usually reserved for my Family. Of course, not a Rule without an Exception.
