Marketing Insight (4 fundamentals to success)

Success in any sales organization, regardless of what you are selling, boils down to 4 things. These 4 things when done consistently will project you to the top 10% of any company you promote.

1. PROSPECTING

     Prospecting is not about the leads you generate or the leads you buy. It's about you knowing how to go out there and prospect, in every method possible.

                  Local Community

                  Warm Market

                  Cold Market

                  Social Media

     I don't care what it is, you need to be the best prospector you can be. You study what you need to study, dig deep into what it is that you need to do.

2. PRESENTING

     You do not go out and pitch your deal, you must present your opportunity. No one wants to hear a sales pitch. You have to go out and inspire people, listen to what they say so you can answer those unmentioned objections. The things that are in the back of their minds, the questions and concerns that they have.

3. CLOSING

    If you don't think you are in the sales profession no matter what you are in you need to slow down, sit down and realize you are wrong. This is a sales profession. If you are an entrepreneur you are in the sales profession and you should be proud of that.

     You may walk away without the sale but never walk away without a friend. You have to know how to close the deal. You have to know what the client needs, not what you want to sell them. You have to know exactly what will fit and you have to go after that.

4. TRAINING

     You have to be able to train yourself, to dig deep, to think outside the box. You should constantly be a student, a student of your industry, of your company, of yourself. 

These four basic fundamentals will help you focus on yourself. If you have not focused on personal growth yourself, how do you expect to lead anything else? It's not going to happen.
