I went to Atlantic City last weekend for a birthday event. It was a great time.

Except for one night. When I accidentally walked into the casino.

The allure of the casino amazed me.

People of all sizes, shapes, and colors trying to push a lucky button to strike it rich.

I stood behind an older lady who seemed like she’s been playing for hours. Her gestures were mechanical. As I was observing her losing about $50 in a course of 15-20 minutes I realized something.

She’s not even aware of what’s going on!

She’s here to get rich.

But she’s being robbed!

Externally, this place looked amazing. Amazing lights, beautiful women, good food.

Internally, however, it was soul crushing to those who could see through all the glitter.

Unfortunately, the business opportunity market is exactly the same.

Lots of glitter to lure you in and rob you of your dreams.

But there’s gold too.
